Thats a big ol’ bridge they built!

You’ll never guess where we’re walking. It’d just wouldn’t be right not to see Wales off by not walking the last few miles on the Coast path. It’s easy underfoot and there is some very interesting info about the Severn tunnel crossing when we get to Sudbrook.

We’ve had great views all morning of the Prince of Wales bridge, and of England getting ever closer. It’s a milestone getting out of Wales but this has only taken us 25 days where getting out of Scotland on JOGLE took 51!

There is some nice artwork at Sudbrook celebrating it’s importance to the estuary and to the tunnel. I’m not sure what Zara thought she could see through Charles Richardsons eyes.

The Chepstow and Caldicot Lions have been helping us out over the last few days and it’s great that they have met us at the Severn bridge to see us out of the Wales. We meet at the underpass and there is some great artwork on the walls. Something bright to see you off or welcome you into Wales.

Today’s miles – 10

Ians Beer of the Day

We overnighted, well 2 nights at the Rose and Crown pub in Rangeworthy, Yvonne the landlady very kindly let us stay in her carpark. I found this little gem at the bar. It’s a bitter, but is light in colour, and is pleasantly drinkable.
