Happy 2026! Here’s how we wrapped up 2025 – first shared in our January e-newsletter.

Victorian Evening and Kirkley Christmas Tree Festival

A lovely weekend of festivities! Huge thanks to everyone for the warm welcome at Loddon & Chedgrave’s Victorian Evening, to our magical tree-decorating fairies at the Kirkley Christmas Tree Festival, and to those talented carol singers.

Halesworth Christmas Market

A fabulous welcome at Halesworth on a bright, chilly, festive day. Thank you to Halesworth Town Council for a wonderful event.

The big brain injury news of 2025

Brain injuries have long been labelled simply “mild”, “moderate” or “severe” – but people with “mild” injuries often live with serious long-term problems. In 2025, researchers published a new approach (known as CBI-M) that looks at the whole picture: clinical tests, blood tests, brain scans and personal factors. It still needs more testing before hospitals use it widely, but it could mean better-matched care for the millions of people affected by brain injury every year.
