It’s called SN KAPAP, and we have made sure that it is going to be suited for beginners and those people that want to gain a bit more confidence.

And yes, we’ve also made sure that there is no kicking or throwing involved.

If you’re a brain Injury survivor, a carer or family member of a brain injury survivor, or if you suffer from Parkinsons then this could well be the activity for you to gain any self-confidence you may have lost or vulnerability you experience when out and about.  The more you learn, at your pace, the more barriers will lift from other activities you might like to do.

Feel free to bring a friend or family member who can spectate or join in with you at your level.

Sam, our fantastic instructor has taught all kinds people of all ages including those who rely on wheelchairs for mobility so, as long as you are mobile, want to be active, meet new people and learn how to defend yourself and your dependants then this could be for you. These sessions are aimed at your ability level so you can get the most enjoyment out of it.

Comfortable clothes, nothing too baggy or with big pockets.  No shoes can be worn when you’re on the mats.

A good sense of humour as we hope that you’ll have fun and want to spread the word.

Water is always recommended to bring along.

Our coach is fully trained in SN KAPAP and First Aid.
