It is exactly like is sounds.  It’s football, but walking and not running. An enjoyable kick about rather than a full matches. 

There won’t be any headers or high balls flying about.

If you’re a brain Injury survivor, or if you suffer from Parkinsons then this could well be the activity for you.  We have LifeGliders available if you walk with sticks or if you feel that you need a little bit of support when moving about.

Feel free to bring a friend or family member who can spectate or join in with you at your level.

LifeGliders are a revolutionary frame that helps support the user when walking and moving about.  Many people who have used them have said that they felt more confident with their mobility within a few minutes.

You don’t need to be a Premier League footballer to take part in the activity, in fact all you need to be able to do is walk, have fun and want to get out and meet new people. These sessions are aimed at your ability level so you can get the most enjoyment out of it.

Just comfortable clothes, but remember no high heels, flip flops or studded boots on the 3G pitch.  Comfortable trainers are fine for indoor or outdoor sessions.

A good sense of humour as we hope that you’ll have fun and want to spread the word.

At both of the venues there are refreshments facilities, so some form of payment, but if you prefer to bring your own drinks then please feel free.  Some water is always recommended to bring along.

Our coaches are FA certified, First Aid trained and have been trained in the use and set up of the LifeGliders so you’re going to be in good hands.

All sessions will be on a Wednesday starting at 09:30 for 1 hour.  You can participate for as long or as little as you want.
